About

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2015. We operate from a private, tranquil, and scenic ranch in the foothills of Golden, CO. Our unique services, facilities, and horses, combined with being in nature provides an impactful forum for our participants to make a change in their lives. We offer three programs, Suicide Prevention, Workforce Development, and Equine Rescue. We incorporate horses into many of our programs and services, we are a wholistic program that provides a combination of traditional, holistic, and metaphysical services that have proven to change lives for the long-haul. We carefully choose horses and people with a special story for our program openings. Our name stands for the positive impact of stopping generational trauma and rewiring one’s life has on entire generations. It is also a somber reminder of the opposite effect that unaddressed trauma can have on perpetual generations to come. The expansive and unique combination of modalities at 99 Hearts has become a healing sanctuary for people and horses that have exhausted their resources with traditional therapies and treatment. Our track record of helping people overcome the impossible and create a life worth living is immense.

History

Our founder is a survivor of extreme, debilitating trauma, she successfully rewrote her life after struggling with suicide from age six after surviving a profoundly difficult beginning. The dream to grow up to help people like herself with little to no hope helped her to hold on until she could make the dream a reality. Diagnosed with chemical intolerance, and untreatable CPTSD from a childhood she should not have lived through, horses and music were her only comfort growing up. In her own healing journey she was informed by most therapists, it was the most significant trauma they’d supported in their practice. After investing her savings year-after-year into multiple traditional therapy modalities that were found to be unsuccessful, she found a handful of holistic solutions that worked. It was then, she knew she would invest into becoming certified as a facilitator in the modalities that rewrote her own trauma. She decided to create an organization that customized solutions for all levels and depth of trauma and disability. The dream became a reality through her hard work in the aerospace, energy, and construction industry across the US. She generously self-funded the organization’s creation and development, to honor how the dream to create this wonderful healing sanctuary saved her life starting at age six and helped her hold on long enough to heal from it all. If it hadn’t been for the dream she created as a child in kindergarten, she’d be a headstone in a lonely field somewhere, a faint memory, another number in the staggering number of suicides that occur each year. Her background of over 20 years in corporate executive leadership, workforce development, training, entrepreneurship, and mentorship has helped develop unique programs that make a lasting difference. She’s certified in over 10 modalities and has personally facilitated many monumental transformations for our horses and has positively impacted thousands of people.
